A/N: Thank you for taking the time to open this story, Raph's Joy, if you don't know who Joy is then watch Season 5 of TMNT, Enjoy! Also, I did a LOT of research for this fic (I watched all of season 5 again) so if you see any wrong info, please tell me, and the rest of the fic may not be up for a while, as I wanted to see if people were interested in this type of fic. Again ENJOY!

Joy chapter 1, dinner (preparations)

"Mike is dinner ready yet, Joy'll be here any minute?"

"Jeez Raph, keep your shell on, I'm nearly done."

Raph had invited Joy around for dinner as they hadn't seen each other since they had gotten rid of the demon shredder. He's been so worked up about it he's going crazy about getting everything perfect.

"Well can you be nearly done faster?"

"Dude, cooking to perfection takes time, and you said to make sure it was 100% perfect."

"Well I've changed my mind to wanting it 100% faster, now hurry UP!"

At that point Master Splinter entered the kitchen

"RAPHAEL, you asked your brother to cook you and your friend a nice meal, be thankful."

"Sorry Sensei, sorry Mike, you finish the meal, I'll see what Donnie's up to."

Man, I've gotta pull myself together, or when Joy gets here she'll think I'm crazy!

Raph got to the door of the lab and knocked politely...then let himself in.

"Hey Genius, what you up to?"

"Raph, give a guy a heart attack why not! Ever heard of waiting for someone to answer before you come in?"

"Sorry, I just really need something to do."

"Why don't you go out for a run that usually calms you down?"

"I WOULD but I CAN'T, Joy'll be here any second!"

"Raph, she's not supposed to be here for another twenty minutes, plenty of time for you to go for a five to ten minute jog."

"I can't because I...I um, would get all sweaty, and I wanna make a good impression."

"Were walking talking turtles Raph, I think the fact she didn't scream when she first saw us says we made a good impression already. Besides, were ninja, she's gunna know we can't stay in one place for very long, and if you take a shower when you get back she won't know you've been for a run."

"I guess, but I, um, I mean...Ooohhh..."

Raph sat down in a nearby chair with his hand over his head.

"Raph, would you stop stressing."

"I'm not stressing!" Raph snapped, immediately standing up straight.

"Oh come ON Raph, we all know you have a crush on her."

"I do NOT" And with that said Raph stormed out of the lab.

Donnie sighed and thought '3, 2, 1-'

Raph walked back into the lab.

"Okay maybe I have a small crush on her *sigh* like she'd ever go out with me."

"Raph, why wouldn't she wanna go out with you?"

"Am I stating the obvious here by saying I'm a turtle?"

"So what if you're a turtle Raph?"

"Do I NEED to spell it out Don? I'm a turtle and she's a human, why would she choose me over some other guy?"

"I see what you're getting at Raph, but, and I'm not just saying this because your my bro, but if she likes you then you could really make her happy"

"And if she doesn't like me?"

"Then you tried."

"What'll I SAY?"

"I don't know, ask her how things are at home."

"Maybe."

Just then Leo walked in.

"Hey Raph, Joys here."

"Okaaay..."
