Laila Fae was stuck in Persona 3. She was not upset though. She had beat this game many times and she was prepared for anything.
Except for meeting Shinjiro Aragaki in real life. Or as real as being stuck in a video game gets.
"Hello, my name is Shinjiro Aragaki." He almost sneered at poor Laila.
'Oh my gosh. Is that- IT'S SHINJI!' Laila's mind exploded in useless banter about Shinji and she was almost to tears.
Shinji looked to the side where Akihiko was standing.
"Is she alright?" He asked him.
Akihiko shook his head and laughed.
Shinji adjusted his beanie and did a mental sigh.
"Hi, my name is Laila!" Laila burst out after getting under control enough for her to form actual words. Her mind was going nuts, and Shinji figured as such.
Now Laila is a wonderful girl, but remember this chick is grade A fangirl. Persona is her life, and Shinji is part of it. She loves Shinji with her heart, mind, soul, EVERYTHING.
From that point on, Laila went on Missions with Akihiko and Shinji as she slowly realizes, this isn't a game, this is now real life.
She and Shinji were slowly forming a relationship, due to Akihiko's pestering.
As Laila grew into a more skilled persona person (whatever you call em) She got closer and closer to Shinji.
Laila walked through the door of a specific place where she would meet Shinji for their first date, which although Laila has learned to hide her emotions was screaming inside.
Shinji motioned her forward, wearing a small smile. He pulled her close to him in a crushing hug. Laila hugged back, blushing a bright pink.
Later on, Laila began to sing to Shinji as he held her in his arms.
"You have such a wonderful voice, Laila." For the first time ever, he didn't call her by player or some other name that was not her own. She squeaked and blushed.
"Thank you, Shinji."
Insert montage music here with Laila and Shinji getting together, getting married, then having kids.
Shinji was about to head out on a mission before Laila stopped him.
"I'm coming too." She huffed.
"It's too dangerous. No." Shinji pulled away from her and geared up.
Laila threw her gear on as well and pushed him out the door locking it. "Let's go."
The look she had was serious and Shinji sighed, leading Laila to the location he was supposed to go to.
They met Akihiko and the old team was back together.
Things happened and Laila was at the part where Shinji (supposedly) dies, and she was worried.
She was ready to risk her life, and as soon as he was about to die, her eyes snapped open.
She sat up on her bed as her game slid off her stomach. The opening theme for Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 was playing. She flailed, realizing it was just a dream...
