Friendship At Ease
The radio was playing, the wind was in my light brown hair, and the breeze was feeling good.
"Syree?" My mom said as she pulled the car to a stop.
"Yes?"
"This is it. Our new house!" She said, turning the car off.
We both got out of the car and I saw the white, two story house. The grass was clean cut, the neighborhood looked better than I expected.
We walked up to the house, and walked it. It was a big house. I walked to a room with my bed in it which I assumed was mine. I had a great view of the backyard which had a pool. Behnd our house, a light brown house with a boy and someone who looked like a girl, were in the backyard throwing a ball. I looked at myself in my mirror, making sure my outfit was OK. My light blue tank top went perfectly with my blue flip flops. And my denim shorts were remarkably cute.
I walked to my backyard and tried to get a better view and ended up falling in the pool. As I fell, I must have made a loud scream because now the two neighbors were looking over the fence.
"Um, are you ok?" The taller, cuter one asked.
"Yea. Sure." I said getting out, ringing my hair out.
The two started whispering while I started walking toward them.
"Sorry, I'm Syree." I said as I stuck my hand out over the fence.
"I'm, umm, Adam." The shorter one who slightly looked like a girl said shaking my hand.
I looked the cuter one waiting for him to say something. Adam elbowed him and he finally spoke up.
"Oh, sorry. My name is umm, umm,.."
"Drew!" Adam said, now both of us looking at his brother.
"Huh? Oh, yes. Drew." he said finally shaking my hand.
And right at the moment our hands connected, my mom called my name.
"Well, I have to go. nice meeting you two." I said smirking at Drew.
As I walked back in the house, I glanced back and Drew did too. I giggled and quickly looked away.
