-Dear Santa...-
By: Kalina
Summary: Christmas at Hogwarts can be defined as: mayhem, competition, enchanted mistletoe, sleeping drafts, and many Sirius-like Santa Clauses. Add some spiked eggnog and a few poisonous reindeer cookies and you got yourself one very Joyeux Noël with the Marauders!

Chapter One: Break!
****************
Silence: the one thing you never hear in Gryffindor Tower these days (A/N: I wonder why. Sirius!) except for those procrastinators heard rushing around in their dormitories, looking for those few left behind items. The common room was nearly empty save for a few remaining first year students who sat hunched over their books trying to ensure a no-work, all-fun holiday break. That was until they were rudely disrupted by a pounding noise coming from in front of the portrait hole.
"Damn bastard! Who the hell is he to give us homework over break?" came the very angry voice of Sirius Black as the portrait opened and the Marauder's and Lily stepped inside.
"Our teacher?" Remus replied raising an eyebrow at Sirius's usual antics.
"Wait." Lily asked as they all sat themselves on the plush couches in front of the fire. "Since when does Sirius do homework?"
"It's the principle of the thing!" Sirius said slamming his fist on the nearest object which happened to be Peter who yelped in pain before tackling Sirius. They both fell to the ground with a thud and became immersed in a brotherly-like brawl.
"Children, children!" said Remus as he, Lily, and James watched as Sirius's fist contacted with his own head. He turned to Lily and James. "I feel like I'm in a zoo!"
James, who had become very anxious while the fight was taking place, got up and sat them on opposite sides of the couch.
"Now children," he said screwing up his face and doing an uncanny impression of Professor McGonagall, "I've had enough of your childish behavior! How many points must I deduct from Gryffindor, my own house, to make you understand." He paused at panicked expressions of both of his friends and noticed Peter point towards behind him. As he turned he could distinctly make out Sirius making alarm noises. He came face-to-face with annoyed person.
"I don't know. How many points should I take from Gryffindor for you childish behavior, Mr. Potter?" Professor McGonagall asked in an irritated tone.
"Ah- None?" James asked with a weak smile and kicked Sirius in the shin to cover up his laughter.
Professor McGonagall held a glare for another moment before raising her voice to be heard in the dorms. "Anyone who is planning on going home for the holidays should report to the Great Hall immediately!" She turned and nodded to Lily, who she seemed to favor, and swept out the portrait hole.
Remus let out the breath he was holding as Sirius mutter, "Nice cover," which earned him a smack on the back of the head from Lily. They sat in silence (Sirius was humming 'Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer' under his breath) before Peter asked, "Who else is staying this year?"
"Guess who?" Lily muttered. "Our favorite people in the world."
"Damn! We don't get a break do we?" James said sarcastically.
"Let us look at this logically," Peter said. "What could we possibly do to them that we haven't already?"
"Doesn't leave much," Lily muttered and all looked at Sirius who had begun twiddling his thumbs. "Uh-oh," she muttered. "Those very little wheels are turning."
Sirius looked up, a glint in his eyes making him look like mad scientist. "Let us all do our evil plan laugh! Mwahahahahahaha!" Everyone stared. "Ha?"
