"No, you don't subtract, you multiply." Annabeth said exasperatedly.

Percy sighed and tried to correct his math. His dyslexia didn't help.

You see, Annabeth was helping Percy pass math. All he needed to do was to get at least a D on his math final and Percy would pass college and become a marine biologist.

"Wise Girl, I'm never going to get this." Percy muttered.

"You're going to pass college. You'll be the best marine biologist there is!"

"It helps being a son of Poseidon and being able to talk to the sea creatures."

"Exactly. Now I've got to go to the bathroom and I want you to solve the next problem while I'm gone." Annabeth told Percy and walked to the bathroom.

Percy sighed (loudly so Annabeth could hear) and stared at the paper. His dyslexia made the numbers and letters float around the page. How could Annabeth do this? She had dyslexia just as bad as him!

Suddenly Percy heard a piercing scream echo through the apartment. He immediately knew it was Annabeth's and she continued to scream bloody murder.

Percy uncapped Riptide and ran to the bathroom, thinking there was a monster. What was it? Nothing really scares Annabeth. Maybe a dragon…or a drakon. Whatever it was, it must be terrifying.

Percy pounded on the door. "Annabeth! Open the door!"

The door opened and Percy rushed in, looking around. He was surprised at what he found.

Annabeth was standing in the corner of the bathroom, screaming, and covering her eyes.

"Annabeth!" Percy rushed over to Annabeth and hugged her. "What's wrong?"

Annabeth said something that Percy couldn't make out.

"What?"

"Sp-" Annabeth started. "S-s-spider!"

Percy stared at his girlfriend. She has fought in two wars, fought dozens of monsters, and even been in Tartarus, and was scared of a spider.

"Where is it?" Percy asked, capping Riptide.

Annabeth pointed to the corner of the bathtub and shielded her eyes again. "I can't look at it."

Percy looked at where Annabeth was pointing. There was nothing. He got closer. Still nothing. He got even closer and finally saw a spider about the size of a pinhead.

Percy tried not to laugh as he got a piece of toilet paper and squashed the spider. "All better?"

Annabeth nodded, wiping her tears. "Thanks, Seaweed Brain."

Percy finally let out a laugh. "Didn't you get over your fear of spiders after Arachne?"

Annabeth glared at him. "I wish. Arachne just made it worse. But you have to admit, spiders are creepy!"

"Yeah, they are, but I thought you were being attacked by a drakon or something."

"Oh…I screamed that loud?"

"I think I've gone deaf."

"Whatever. Come on, Seaweed Brain. We need to start studying again. You need to pass math!"

Percy pouted. "But Wise Girl…"

"No buts."

Percy laughed. "You said 'no butts.'"

"You're such a Seaweed Brain!"

"Yeah, but I'm your Seaweed Brain."
