As an avid fan of the show America's Next Top Model, when I saw a fan fiction (Disney's Top Model, by Rooster, and EXCELLENT fic BTW) involving various Disney cartoon characters in the Disney Cartoons section of this site, I was thrilled- and took it upon myself to take up the same idea. (Thanks, Rooster!) This fan fiction involves a modeling competition called LA's Next Teen Model, and the contestants are vying for the prize of either a modeling contract, OR a four-year college scholarship. The characters are all featured on Disney's Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens. Even if you aren't familiar with the UPN show, the story is still very easy to follow, since the competition is the basic scenario. Characters involved:

Judges:
Tai Barnes: organized the competition, and is a currently a model on top of her game. She is fair, a classic beauty, and very sweet, yet honest in her criticisms.
Janet Dickenson: A former supermodel with a very high opinion of herself as well as a very high standard for the competition. Her criticisms are as harsh as her fake tan, and she's the judge most likely to make the kiddies cry. Brutally honest and proud to be that way, she judges them from every angle.
James Manuela: A fashion designer and writer with a keen eye for the artistic and for the fashion world. It had been said that he can spot a superstar half a world away- and he has the resume to prove it.
Niles Barkenson: British-born fashion photographer with tons of experience and a resume full of glossies that have made him famous, as well as his subjects. He knows how to bring out the best in a model- and knows if the model has what it takes to be successful in his world.
LA's Next Top Teen Model is set up through a series of tests, photo shoots, runway shows, intellectual tests and various other methods used by the judges in determining which male and which female would best represent Los Angeles as teen models and have the best success. Contestants are judged on attitude, marketability, performance in the tests, and confidence.
This contest takes place during their senior year, when they are all seventeen, (except for Tawny, Tom and Twitty, who are juniors and sixteen) and the last two characters not eliminated are the winners of the contest (one boy and one girl.) Other characters (such as Louis and Gordo) not featured in the actual list of contestants will be in the story, do not worry. Read on!
