A/N: Well. What shall I say? This was something random that popped up into my head… and I didn't spend much time on it… improving it or anything… so sorry if there are any mistakes.

"Lily!" James called.

"Potter."

"Oh, so you want to be Lily Potter?"

"NO! What's the matter now?"

"I have something for you."

"Oh, what?"

"A lily for my Lily."

"Oh. Potter! You and your corny pick up lines! Even I have something for you."

"What is it? A kiss?"

"No, Potter, a kick."

James ducked away from her and walked to Remus and Sirius.

"Hard luck mate!"

"Yeah… now it's time for plan no: 614."

"Oh, and what's that?"

"Listen!"

It was the end of the Sixth year. The students had gathered in the Great Hall for the feast.

As Professor Dumbledore took the stage, a whisper spread across the Hall.

"Well, students. It is the end of the year! As I generally say, have a happy holiday, and come back fresh and new. And don't study too much during the holidays!"

James immediately walked towards Lily. Lily, seeing him walk towards her, walked away; but James was too quick for her.

"Evans!"

"Potter, go away, and no!"

"I'm not going to ask you out!"

"…"

"Okay, I know you don't like me, but can you return it now? I can't live without it."

"What are you talking about?"

"Well, something that you have stolen."

"Good Heavens, Potter! I don't have anything of yours!"

"Of course you do!"

"Do not!"

"Do too!"

"Do not!"

"Do too!"

"What is it anyway?"

A lot of students were now looking at the two.

"My heart!"

"…"

There was a stunned silence.

"Mr. Potter, stop behaving ridiculously!" With that, Professor McGonagall took hold of James' arm and dragged him off.

But James was grinning. Because he had seen a slight blush on Lily's face. And he knew Evans would agree to go out with him next time.

Secretly, Sirius and Remus grinned. Because plan no: 614 had worked. At least, partially.
