They can read you like an open book. But they are not reading the right story. What they see is words, letters and blanks. What they read seems easy to understand - the plot is clear. They think they know who you are.
Why do they trust in thin layers of paper? Why won't they read between the pages?
Why, you shall never let them, would your Father say… Your Father, Lucius Malfoy. As he is the person you despise the most but cannot show, the person you fear more than the Dark Lord but cannot get away from, the person that clouds your mind and makes feelings feel like fog on a rainy day. Yes, Lucius has his cold long fingers wrapped tightly around your neck, never releasing your soul, not allowing a single speck of light to cross your face, always in front of you, overshadowing every horizon… in East as in West.
You display anger but you wear a mask. You display hatred but is the silver storm in your eyes really all that? Maybe there is more to you than what you seem, to what you show people… Maybe you thought a certain someone would notice.
Isn't Green supposed to see through lies? Isn't someone who survived the Avada Kedavra curse as a mere baby supposed to be wise beyond their years? Isn't Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, supposed to uncover secrets of all kinds?
But he doesn't know you are waiting for him. He cannot know how you lay awake, waiting, waiting for him to see. He sees you just as anyone else does: Draco Malfoy, not worthy of the benefit of the doubt.
Well,
They might think that they can read you like an open book. But they don't know the whole story.

A/N: I know there are one or two of you who are desperately waiting for me to update my other stories. Well, I haven't abandoned them for life but you know, that's exactly what happened and the reason I haven't updated in so long… life. Sorry and I hope you understand !
