Here's another short drabble. Inspired by my new tea mug that I purchased at a lovely little British tea shop and museum :)

"Sherlock!"
John had lost count of how many times he told his flatmate to keep body parts out of the shower, months ago.
"Get your bloody experiments out of the bathroom. I don't care if someone's alibi does depend on it; I want to take a shower!" Yes, John was having a bad day.
"Honestly, John. There's no need to shout."
John glared at Sherlock as the detective walked past him into the bathroom and inspected the half-mutilated, foul-smelling kidneys residing on the floor of their shower.
He hummed to himself and quickly jotted something down in a small notebook before heading out to the kitchen-turned-lab and returning with a heavy plastic bag and gloves.
"I must get Molly to pick these up later." Sherlock continued mumbling to himself as he walked away. John sighed as he glanced back at the still bloody, smelly shower. Well, at least he'd moved the kidneys. That's a start, he thought to himself as he began to gather cleaning supplies.
After scrubbing the shower down, thoroughly, John was eventually able to wash off.
Wrapping his striped dressing gown around himself, he carefully made his way through their cluttered living room and into the kitchen to make a cup of tea. Opening the fridge he looked inside for the milk before hastily closing it again. Do I really want to know?
He opened the fridge again, just to be sure.
"Sherlock," He called, very deliberately keeping his voice calm. "Why are there severed rabbits ears in our brand new jug of milk?"
"Just testing a hypothesis of mine." Came the muffled reply from somewhere underneath the pile of pillows and false wigs (don't ask) that was their couch.
John sighed again, running a hand down his face. He needed a cup of tea.
Maybe Mrs. Hudson would let him borrow some milk. He changed quickly and trotted downstairs, coming back up with a half-full jug of milk and a reminder of "Not your housekeeper!"
As John finally sat down, clutching his much deserved tea, he looked at the writing that decorated the black and red mug. Yes, it definitely fit his life with Sherlock. To a tee, pun intended.
"Keep calm and have a nice cuppa"
