Fred was in his owner's house. He looked out the window. He was fascinated with nature. The tall trees, green grass, squirrels, butterflies, and colorful flowers.
Fred stretched then walked towards the open door. His family pet Fred's head then left. He watched them drive away.
Fred decided to go outside. So he walked outside through the cat door. He breathed in some fresh air. He went to the backyard. He lay down on the lush grass. He just stayed there ready to take a catnap.
He heard noises and woke up. He looked through a hole in the fence and saw a dog with a red collar. The dog spotted him and ran over to him and jumped the fence. "Hi! My name is Hal! What's your name?" He said. Fred said "Fred. Nice to meet you Hal." Then he heard another noise from the house next to his. Hal anf Fred ran to the other side of the yard.
There was a rabbit taking pictures of some flowers with her smartphone. She turned around and saw Fred and Hal. "Oh hello! My name is Daisy." Daisy opened the gate to her yard and Fred and Hal walked in. "My name is Fred and this is Hal" Fred said motioning to Hal. "Nice to meet you Daisy!" Hal said as he wagged his tail.
Then Fred, Hal, and Daisy heard a squeaking noise next door to Daisy's yard. They ran over and saw a mouse eating cheese. When she saw them she said "Hello! I'm Squeeks." Then she walked in Daisy's yard. "My name is Daisy and this is Fred and Hal." she said. Fred and Hal waved.
"Cool. I never knew you guys lived near here." Squeeks said. "I live next to Daisy and Hal lives next to me." Fred said. "I just came outside to see nature." Hal interrupted and said ""Oh! I love nature too! I just love nature. All the birds and squirrels are amazing!" Daisy hopped up and said "Oh and all the flowers and plants! I love planting flowers and vegetables." Then Squeeks said "Yeah bature is awesome! I love collecting rocks and learning about nature!" "Wow! We all love nature. Maybe we could be friends?" Fred asked. Hal wagged his tail and hugged Daisy, Squeeks, and Fred. "YES! I love you guys already!" Daisy said "Man oh man! That would be great!". Squeeks the said "As usual the mouse is in!". Hal let go.
Fred then ran into his house and came back out with a green shirt with an orange stripe across it, and orange belt, brown pants, and brown medieval shoes, and a medivial hat with a red feather on it(A/Nwhat do you call those?). "I am Nature Cat! Backyard explorer extraordinaire!" he shouted.
Hal said "Cool, Fred!" Nature Cat ran to Hal and said "Thank you, my good friend. But you may call me Nature Cat." Hal said "Okay Nature Cat." "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's explore!" Squeeks said. "Yes. Onward and yonward!" Nature Cat said. Then Daisy, Squeeks, and Hal shouted "Onward and yonward!"
Nature Cat, Squeeks, Daisy, and Hal ran into the forest ready to explore nature.
