-I couldn't tell you-
-Why she felt that way-
-She felt it everyday-
-And I couldn't help her-
-I just watched her make-
-The same mistakes again-
I watch as she heads towards the well. Once again, he has managed to crush her spirit. I
feel so helpless, I can only imagine how she feels right now. He's chasing after her. He'll beg
her to come back, and like always, she will follow.
-What's wrong what's wrong now-
-Too many too many problems-
-Don't know where she belongs-
-Where she belongs-
I feel tears well up in my eyes as she breaks down and cries. She gets hurt so much, it's
hard to tell what's wrong. Unbeknownst to me a battle rages for where she belongs.
-She wants to go home-
-But nobody's home-
-That's where she lies-
-Broken inside-
-With no place to go-
-No place to go-
-To dry her eyes-
-Broken inside-
She lets herself fall into the well, she just want to belong somewhere. I see her climb back
out, eyes red from crying. The well wont let her go home, she has no one to comfort her as more
tears run down her face. Finding her way to the forest, she falls and weeps. He tries to follow
again.
-Open your eyes now-
-And look inside-
-Find the reasons why-
-You've been rejected-
-Now you can't find-
-What you've left behind-
I slap him across the face and scream at him for hurting her the way he has. Telling him
he'll lose her someday if he hasn't already.
-Be strong be strong now-
-Too many too many problems-
-Don't know where she belongs-
-Where she belongs-
I find her on the floor, weeping over him and his decisions. I try to talk to her but she
wont hear me. She's fighting inside about where she belongs, with him or with her family.
-Her feelings she hides-
-Her dreams she can't find-
-She's losing her mind-
-She's falling behind-
She acts like nothing's wrong. It all goes back to normal. But I can see in her eyes she's
lost her reason for living.
-She can't find her place-
-She's losing her faith-
-She's falling from grace-
-She's all over the place-
She tries to fit in but she's only pushed away. Her smile doesn't reach her eyes anymore.
She feels as though she's been stretched too thin.
-She's lost inside lost inside-
-She's lost inside lost inside-
She's lost inside and she can't find a way out of her thoughts anymore...
