All you see in me

At the close of the day

When my mistakes have died away

For the night

I sit on my floor and wish

That only for one night

I could erase all of who I am

I wish the worst of me was never seen

That I could be what only you can see

In the light of the day when my

Mask has washed away

I'll be wishing I could be

All you see in me

Everybody's aching, it's not just me

We're all trying to find it, the truth we seek

If only, I could see the light you see

Because I've been trying hard to love me for me

The person I've been hiding

I can't stand

I look in the mirror and I am ashamed

So my question to you is how?

How do I erase my masks and mistakes?

Theirs a light,

It's in me,

It's the truth that I seek
