Another Kida/Mikado one-word fic, as requested by my friend. This time the word was "picture". And I actually managed to get this done soon after she asked me to do it. Sorry for any OOC-ness, and uh, enjoy!
"Mikado! I'm here!~" A voice called to Mikado from outside his door. Before he could even respond, the door swung open and his boyfriend walked in. "Oh hi Masaomi."
Masaomi Kida plopped his overnight bags on the floor next to Mikado's bed and ran over to give him a big hug. "Ahh, Mikado, I missed you so much!" he said.
"Masaomi, you saw me yesterday."
"Yes, and I went a very long twenty-four hours without seeing your face. It was terrible." Kida looked up at Mikado with huge over-dramatic, angsty eyes. "I was in a state of utter dispair! So lonely, so lonely!"
Mikado rolled his eyes. "Ok, what do you want to do first?"
"Uhhh... movie! Movie!" Kida cheered.
Mikado nodded. "Alright, you pick one from the stack on my desk and I'll go make the popcorn." He went to do so and left Kida to make his decision. Picking up the stack, he flipped through absentmindedly until something caught his eye, but it wasn't a movie case. It was a small black book, peeking out from one of Mikado's slightly opened desk drawers. Curious, Kida opened the drawer and pulled it out.
Mikado was pouring the hot popcorn into a bowl when he heard light laughter coming from his room. This got him immediately worried. What had Kida done? He ran into his room to find his boyfriend looking through that book, the one he tried so desperately to keep hidden...
"These are really quite something, Mikado! Who knew you were such a funny looking baby?" Kida said between bursts of laughter. Mikado turned a bright red. "Ah- M-masaomi-"
"Waahahahha! Look at this one!" Kida guffawed, pointing to one picture featuring a chubby, black-haired baby with one finger up his nose and a happy grin plastered on his face.
"M-ma-ma-Masaomi, you better not show those to anyone!" Mikado's face turned an even darker red, if possible.
"Oh yeah? And how are you going to make sure I don't?" Kida challenged, a sly grin on his face.
Mikado ran over and pressed his lips to Kida's.
"Hmm, that's it? Well..."
Mikado kissed Kida one more time.
"... I suppose this stays between you and me." Kida smiled once more. "For now."
