Chapter 1 : Change
Silence. Green Everywhere. And the Constant Drop, Drop
I was wondering in the woods again. Woods... Edward told me to not go in the woods alone before..before he left. I felt an another drop. But this drop was not from my head. Charlie would say something if I went home like this. Or not. I have been like this since my "life" ended. Go Blank, cry, and cry some more. I am tired of crying, but I just can't help that everything reminds me of Him. No, Scratch that. There is one place "safe" : La Push. I have no memory of him there. Cullens, the vampires or family were to be, were not allowed. Plus I have a friend who is always glad to see me there unlike my school so-called friends where Jessica does not even bother to say hi anymore, and Angela..she is just quiet. The thought of socializing, relating myself to the others gave me a strange feeling in my stomach. The rain started to fall hard, so I head back. I wanted to run, but I knew that my clumsiness would not allow such an action. By the time I got to my house, I was drenched, and my teeth were shattering. Ugh, how I miss Phoenix where where it's sunny twenty-four seven. Thinking about Phoenix would have normally evoke an image of my mom, but this time I saw La Push in my abnormal mind. "Ring, Ring...Ring, ring, ring." My daydreaming about something other than Edward, which doesn't happen and is one in a trillion case, was interrupted by a phone call. I picked up the phone in a frustration. "Hello, it is Chief Swan speaking," said the caller. Why does he have to address him as a police officer. Is he ashamed to be my dad like Jessica is probably regretting talking to me on the first day of my coming here? "Have I done anything wrong, officer?" I answered. "No, no..," I could tell the panic in Charlie's voice, "I was just calling to..." I interrupted him, "Make sure I am alive and have not committed a suicide?" I have been through this over thousand times. "No dear, I wanted for you to go to La Push and pick up a package from Billy," said Charlie. I blushed in shame, "Oh..yeah. Sure." I hung up. I stood still and blinked before I was able to move. It was just so weird that Charlie wants me to go to La Push, and I was just thinking about it. Once in a long time, I felt a change.
My very first story. It is a bit short chapter.
