A/N: I wrote this fic on Christmas, but I only got up off my lazy butt to upload it now (not that I actually had to move... but... well, you get the idea.) Hope you like it! Please Review! ~ Maraudersandlilyland

It was Christmas eve of their sixth year, and Sirius and Remus had a plan. Well, Sirius had a plan, and Remus was just there to make sure he didn't make a fool of himself (combined with the fact that Sirius had dragged him along).
Sirius was there to make sure that James and Lily got stuck under the mistletoe together. It was (what Sirius considered) a very long and complex plan. It was broken down into five steps.
Step one: Sirius would stand under the mistletoe in the corner of the room, kissing all the girls that "happened" to get caught under the magically enchanted mistletoe that didn't let you leave it's midst until you had kissed the other unfortunate (or fortunate) person who had gotten caught under it.
Step two: Somehow make Lily sit next to an awaiting James.
Step three: "Casually" place mistletoe above them.
Step four: Make them kiss.
Step five: Resume position under the mistletoe.
Let it be noted that Remus was tired and did not notice that Sirius was currently placed beneath the mistletoe. He just thought Sirius was casually standing in the corner. Hence, the following occurred.
"Hey Sirius! Any ideas on how to get them together?" Remus said, walking over to Sirius and leaning up against the wall next to him.
"Um... Moony?" Sirius said nervously, eyes wide.
"What?" He muttered sleepily, rubbing his temples.
Sirius pointed upwards. "Mistletoe." He placed a hand on one side of Remus and positioned himself more in front of him, putting most of his weight against the wall. Remus was stuck leaning against the wall in the corner of the room.
Remus's eyes widened as he realized what had happened. He tried to escape backwards, but just ended up in being pressed closer to the wall. "Ah! I swear, Sirius, I didn't see it! Otherwise I wouldn't-"
He was cut off by Sirius kissing him. The mistletoe would be satisfied by a simple touch of lips, but Sirius wouldn't be. He pulled away, smiling softly. "Sorry, couldn't hear you," he said, then quickly realized what had happened and walked off hurriedly.
Remus stood there, dumbfounded, for at least a minute. When he finally caught up with Sirius, the other boy was already on the other side of the room.
Sirius was talking to two girls that Remus didn't know. But he didn't care. Cutting him off mid-sentence, he grabbed Sirius's shoulder and spun him around sharply. Then he planted a passionate kiss on the other boy's lips.
When they finally pulled back for air, the two girls looked at them in surprise, then disgust, and walked away. But the boys were two utterly engrossed in each other to notice.
"Wow," Sirius muttered, brushing a hair back from Remus's face.
"You do not know how long I've been waiting to do that," said Remus, smiling.
"Me too. Hey - look over your shoulder..." Remus did as he was told, and noticed something quite extraordinary. James and Lily were standing, together, under some mistletoe, snogging each other senseless. The boys smiled at each other.
"I guess," said Sirius, "that both of my plans for tonight worked."
"Oh, shut up," muttered Remus, looking into Sirius's deep gray eyes. Then he proceeded to follow James's and Lily's example, and the two new couples snogged for the majority of the remainder of the night.
