Tears flowed down his cheeks, as he cried by his mum and dad's lifeless bodies. The wind wasn't helping him any better, as he shook his head aggressively. "Noll! Where are you?" His now raspy voice could be hear from miles away, and Noll, informed by the guards had come down to greet the scene stood by him, not saying anything due to shock. "Noll! Look what those idiots did to them?" Gene yelled, still crying furiously. Noll sat next to him, on the wet grass, as his hand brushed against his mother's wrist. His eyes were wide open, but he could barely see anything.

One week later…

Noll entered his room, his black attire suggesting his mourning. He found Gene fast sleep on his chair, so he sighed. After their parent's death, he always found Gene somehow entering his room. But then again, he didn't have the time or the heart to tell him to go away. His life and Gene's was messed up, and he knew it. Since his favourite chair was occupied, he plopped himself on the black simplistic couch, and leaned back in thought. So Gene didn't know how to rule, the people didn't know how to fight, and a war had to happen soon. Even if the other kingdom settled down and apologized, he was going to start a war. And he was going to make sure that both the King and Queen, along with their bratty daughter were dead. But that was the thing, people had to be ready first, and he had to convince Gene to start a war, which was going to be really hard.

While Gene didn't forgive easily (he was once ignored by Gene for 8 weeks, because he called Gene 'stupid'), he never took revenge either, and since the kingdom was now in his hands, Noll couldn't just be like 'Oh, I want to start a war' or 'Oh, lets feed everyone bread and water from now!' He had to consult Eugene first. Eugene wasn't the type of person to turn his brother's ideas down but a war was an absolute 'no no' for him.

He heard low mumbling from across the room, and figured it was Gene sleep talking. Gene had his head down on the table, Noll's book acting as a pillow for him. Noll sighed once again before walking the wooden floor to Gene's sleeping form. What he couldn't miss was the wet book resting underneath Gene's head. He obviously was crying in his sleep. See, that was the reason he wanted revenge. It wasn't just for himself; it was also because he couldn't bear to see his brother like that.

While Gene may have been 'older' he was sure acting more childish than Noll would ever be. He insisted on staying in his brother's room all day, and literally begged Noll to stay with him every time he went to get something. And while Noll was mourning deeply in his heart, he wouldn't cry, unlike Gene.

He sighed, this was going to be a long year…

A/U: I deleted A Trip to America because I thought that it just wasn't ready. I'll repost it when I think more about what I'm going to do with the plot. But this one shows a rather… dark side to Naru's personality. He is kind of like an anti-hero, but not at the same time, because he is doing it for his brother?
