Chapter 1
Lily Luna Potter was often teased by a few of the Slytherins. Most ancestors of Death Eaters. She got teased because she was a parselmouth. She got teased when she accidently let it slip that she was almost sorted into Slytherin. She got teased because her wand was Voldemort's, a wand that had attempted to kill her own father many times and killed her family and her families friends. She got teased for being a blood-traitor. But she didn't care. She had friends and family who loved her and would stick by her no matter what.
One time after getting so angry she blasted a curse that came out very powerful at a Slytherin boy she ended up in the Headmistress's office. While waiting she talked to a portrait. The man in the portrait had greasy, black hair and black eyes like tunnels. His name was Severus Snape. He told he to be brave, he told her she had loving friends and family, he told her not to let the people who teased her make her angry. He told her she was just like her grandmother, her namesake. He explained he'd once called her a mudblood and never forgiven himself for it. So she told him one thing. She told him to get over it because Lily Evans or Lily Potter had probably forgiven him long ago. He smiled and thanked her. Severus Snape had become a good friend of hers since then.
Lily had another friend who was a Slytherin. His name was Severus after Severus Snape. He actually was related to Snape. Snape's father had a brother who had a son and his son had a son named Severus Snape. And that son, a mudblood was one of Lily's best friends.
"Lily, your boyfriend sent you a letter," James joked pointing at her owl flying in.
Lily took the letter and pet the owl's head. She opened it and read.
Dear Lily,
Meet me in McGonagall's office. Portrait old Severus Snape wants us to come talk to him.
Severus
"Oooh, what did your boyfriend say?" Cooed Hugo.
"Shut up!" Lily snapped getting up to meet Severus.
"Hi, Sev!" She greeted.
"Hi, Lily," Severus smiled.
They entered the office and greeted all the portraits.
"Hello Severus and Lily," Severus Snape's portrait greeted. "Lily have you hexed everyone who calls Severus a You-Know-What?"
"Yes, sir," Lily laughed.
"Good," The portrait nodded.
"I don't need you to hex them," The young Severus said.
"Yes you do," Said Lily and the portrait.
"You're just as bad as them," Young Severus joked.
The old Severus Snape's portrait smiled at the young students. A brave Gryffindor lioness had fallen in love with the first ever Slytherin mudblood. He'd better not hurt her or the opposite.
