Butterbeer Bonding
Hi, I'm Ginny Weasley. I have really bright red hair with a temper to match. Why I'm here? To tell a story of course...
Ok, I'm telling a story about me and my sister in-law. No, Ron isn't married to Hermione...yet. I'm talking about my peppy, blond, pink obsessed, heavy french accent sister in-law, Fleur Delacour. Or rather, Phlegm.
It's toture, being in the same room she is. But I got stuck the whole day shopping with her, just because Mum was sick and tired of her. It was torture! Lord Voldemort is better! Well not really...ok, yeah, he is!
The only thing I remember is the butterbeer we had. Everything else is a pink shopping blur. I hate pink! I'm gonna curse whoever invented the color pink! Anyways, it went like this...
"Ginny, vou must vear the pink blouse I have vou. Vou look absolutely vonderful in it!" Phlegm...Fleur said. I muttered a few curses under my breath. "Ginny, I know vou 'ate me. I'm ver sorry. Did I do something wrong?"
"No Ph-Fleur." Thank goodness 'ph' and 'f' sound the same. "It's just, I've never been good at shopping thing."
"Oh..." Fleur sighed, "Ginny, can I tell vou a secret?"
"Sure Fleur." I said.
"Ginny...I like the color blue better!" Fleur spit out. I gasped. Who knew?
"I do too!" I finally said. I liked any color better than the hidious pink.
"Really? All this time I've been shopping for pink because I thought vou liked it. I vas trying to...how do vou say it...bond."
"Fleur, do you mind if we return all the pink and go shopping for blue instead?" I asked. Did I just say go, shopping, and clothes in the same sentance? Big mistake there. We could be gone forever! Fleur's face lit up immediately. BIG MISTAKE! I put down my butterbeer and she pulled me away in an instant.
So there you have it. Ok, I know you're thinking, "It wasn't that bad!" but for those people who hate pink as much as me, you know how bad it was. I still have over 50 articles of pink clothing in my closet. I don't even know where Fleur got all the money!
So I'd like to report and tell you that me and Fleur are getting along...a little better.
