The bright moonlight shined on the balcony of my room majestically. It was like a majestic horse prancing around the night sky. I stared out into the moon. It reminded me of so many things. One was the time he nearly killed Sieghart. Another was the time he was defending Kounat. There were so many opposing demons against Kounat. It made me wonder why they hated it. Maybe for power. Maybe for reward. Maybe for respect. It didn't really matter.
So anyway, I also remembered other things like when I met Ley's father, Peter con Crimson River. Some memories were sad. Others were great. One of the best memories is the memory of the time I was crowned chief of the Burning Canyon.
After a while of replaying many memories in my mind, I turned around and sighed. Right in front of me was Sebastian. Why the little runt.. "Sir!" he exclaimed, trying to catch my attention. I sighed again. "What do you want ya' little runt?" I questioned. Usually Sebastian just wanted to tell me stupid things. "S-s-s-sir..Madam Ley von Crimson River is at the d-d-d-door!" he replied. I was surprised by two things.
One, Sebastian actually said something useful. Two, Ley was at my door. "Why would she be here?" I muttered. I dragged myself to the door and opened it. There was Ley, the terrible daughter of Peter von Crimson River. One would ask why I despise her. Well the answer is very simple.
HER FATHER SENT HER TO SPY ON ME. There. I said it in big bold words. She must be here to go a bit deeper into her spying.
So let's go back to the current situation. The second I saw Ley's face, I muttered a curse in such a way that she couldn't hear. "So um..Hi Dio?" she said, trying to act all nice and innocent with a mask. Too bad her mask of emotion was too thin, because I could see right through it. "I've already had enough of this..." I said, closing the door. I wasn't quick enough since She stopped me by pushing the door with her hand. "Look Dio. I need to talk to you." she admitted, trying to gain some sympathy and care out of me.
Man, at least I have a bit more emotion then her. "Fine. Come in." I answered. Ley slowly entered the room as if hidden traps were placed inside. Then Alfred came up. "Sir! It's that vile Crimson River, Ley! How did she get in?" he exclaimed, drawing out his hidden blade that was almost sharper than Lass's Nodachi.
Ley was obviously taken by surprise and stepped back a bit. I reacted immediately. "Alfred. Now that isn't a nice way to treat our guest." I said, struggling to say the last part. Alfred blinked for a moment, trying to take in the fact that I just let in Ley von Crimson River into my room. "Oh well alright then! Welcome Ley!" he said, changing his attitude completely. See? That's what I love about Alfred. He always adjusts and he never shows his fear. If only Sebastian was like that. I shrugged the thought off.
So Ley sat on one of the nearby chairs and was ready to speak. I was curious about what she said and sat on the other chair and raised up my hand, giving Alfred and Sebastian a sign to leave. At first the two of us were silent. Only gazing at each other's eyes. Wow..her eyes are actually...pretty. Wait! I stopped my thinking right away. Why would I think that Ley is pretty? I shrugged it off and decided to start off the conversation.
"So...what do you want to talk about?"
Hey guys! I'm trying to make an attempt at a Dio and Ley story. I personally thought it would be better from Dio's point of view. This will be a two chapter story. I will put in Dio and Ley's conversation in the next and make it longer than this way short chapter. But I'll add second chapter if you guys want. I'm not updating this story without feedback saying that you want the story to be updated. So anyway, please R&R.
