Review and I'll steal some of Max's cookies for you (granted that she hasn't killed me yet) :P
Honestly, I'm not sure the MR fandom is active and I'm publishing this in 2015, 3 years after Nevermore was released but please, all the still active fans, REVIEW.
Disclaimer: I don't own Maximum Ride.
(Max's POV)
It's been decided, never, and I really do mean never, giving Angel and Nudge their own credit card. By the time we were finally done shopping, I had myself wishing that I was fighting Erasers instead. Seriously, if Angel and Nudge ever ask for you to take them shopping, run like you've never ran before. They will force you into EVERY store and gush about how you should totally wear that outfit to school tomorrow.
Oh wait, I forgot to tell you.
You see after that bastard Fang left us for his human parents in who-knows-where, we were kind of stranded for a bit, so Dr. Martinez aka the best mom in the whole entire world, decided that we should enroll in school and get a house. Yes, high school. I was obviously totally against it but after two plates of cookies and two rounds of endless begging and Bambi eyes, I caved. What? The Great Maximum Ride's weaknesses are Bambi eyes and chocolate chip cookies...
Anyways, so here I am, awkwardly standing in my room, looking around for where exactly am I supposed to put all the new clothes I bought. I could fit the first twenty bags in my walk-in closet alright but I was still left with around nine other bags. See what I mean? After shopping with Nudge and Angel not only do your feet hurt but you're also left with random clothes piled around your room because you don't have enough closet space. Deciding that those nine lonely bags without homes would just be shoved under my bed, I turned off the lights and clambered over to my spacious bed. Tomorrow was going to be a long first day of school.
(The Next Morning)
I know this is going to sound so unbelievably cliché but I really do hate alarm clocks. The persistent ringing of doom reminded me every 10 seconds that I had to wake up at this ungodly hour just to go to school. Yipee! Max's infamous sarcasm strikes again.
Maybe school would have been slightly more bearable with Fang, my soul mate and best friend, but he was gone. Left his one true family and the people who loved him so much just to live with the very people who had given him up in the first place. The nerve of him! At least I wouldn't have to see him ever again...
Don't be so sure Maximum, fate has a way of making sure everything goes as planned.
I shot straight up in bed. My wonderful friend the Voice, wasn't doing it's daily visits thingy anymore and I thought I had finally I'd gotten rid of it after Itex fell. Huh, guess not.
But I didn't have the luxury to ponder over this mysterious message because before I could scream, two figures appeared by my doorway. Golden curls and coffee colored skin was all I could see before I was tied down and gagged to a chair. Ya, you read that right. Maximum Ride's own personal hell was about to begin... and it was starting with a makeover.
In case you couldn't tell, this is my first fanfiction and I'm kinda really really bad at writing but please review and tell me what you think :) *Bambi eyes* pleaseeeeeee
