It was a perfectly clear day, beautiful and warm, when Camille –also known as Monaco- decided to take a walk by the park. It happened to be alone and her husband, Vash –or call him Switzerland, if you wish- was on guard duty. Humming happily to herself, she took hold of a couple of books, pens and notepads and set out for the park.
As she walked into the park, she noticed a quiet corner that seemed too tempting to hide to. When she decided to approach, she felt that it was a familial place, but she only realized what it was when she sat on the bench and looked at the view in front of her. But of course! That was the place where Vash had asked her to marry him. Letting out a deep breath, she smiled and set down to her notepad, finally deciding to write a letter for him.

Vash, mon amour
you'll never guess where I am! I found our own place. Our bench, remember? Mon dieu, that brought back some good memories!
Like..Like when I first met you! You always seemed like a pretty interesting person, and I met you by chance. I can just recall your image…Kind, polite…Yet a bit sad. I remember, you were heartbroken back then, because Bella decided to marry Abel. I remember, I couldn't make you forget it… But I felt I needed to make you smile, you know?
And you had been so nice to me…I was always feeling nice around you. Either we were talking about finances –what a surprise, we would never decide who was better in this, like a bunch of kids!- , or we would talk about our families, or other casual things, I would be incredibly happy when you decided to spend some time with me!
Suddenly, I found myself caring a bit too much to meet you-and I couldn't quite put my mind on the reason why, I just felt good talking to you! It was a while later when I realized that I had fallen for your personality, but I wouldn't dare talk about it, because I truly believed I couldn't compete Belgium for your heart and it make me feel ashamed, just to think of it…
And yet, what a surprise! What a bliss! You were the one who came to me, admitting that you have some kind of feelings with me… Do you know? You asked me out and I was betting that you were just joking, I couldn't believe that you meant it! And so, after I realized you meant what you said –mon dieu, the embarrassment…- I gladly said yes, and even now I can't think of a better answer!
Then…Then…Remember? It was in one of our dates, that you nervously asked me to take a walk with you to the park. I still remember how flushed you were –I thought that it was adorable!- as we sat on this very same bench I'm sitting now, and you mustered all the strength you had to kneel in front of me and ask me to marry you! Oh my, I bet I was sounding silly, the way I was mumbling then-please don't make me blush so much!
I really believe you were the most handsome groom ever, mon cher-and don't try to convince me otherwise! You were the most handsome groom, and I was the happiest bride ever~
After all this time, Vash…I only want to thank you. We've been through thin and thick, yet you're still doing your best to keep me safe and happy. And you make it real, you keep the smile upon my face. Je t'aime beaucoup, and I'll try to keep you happy too, remember that!

Your happy wife,
Camille

The blonde woman smiled to herself and fixed her glasses as she looked around. She folded the letter neatly and hid it in her books, then picked them up and set off for home, murmuring a song happily. She knew he would never read the letter, but she didn't mind- she was happy just to have all her memories pass in her mind again.
