Cosplay for the case
It was turning out to be one of the hardest cases that the major crimes squad had to deal with since Sharon Raydor had become their leader. They had found two teens dressed up as characters from Battlestar Galactica and after a few hours had managed to track the killer to a cosplay convention that was happening nearby. The problem was that the killer could be any of the strange people wandering around the building and the squad had no way of figuring out which person was the killer. The squad looked around the convention and after the fourth time of being mistaken for some character off of Battlestar Galactica Sharon was ready to explode. She was trying to find a killer and yet every time she turned around she was being asked if she was related to the characters actress. If one more person asked her that then Sharon was ready to pull out her gun. The squad seemed to find it funny though so Sharon sent them on errands so that she wouldn't have to listen to them laugh anymore.
At that moment Raydor felt the barrel of gun get pressed to her back and a hand guiding her towards the side exit. When they reached the exit Raydor was pushed into the wall and she was finally able to turn around. The man that was holding a gun on her was dressed in a suit and for a moment Sharon could help but think of the humor behind the fact that the building was filled with people dressed in weird costumes and the person attacking her was dressed normally. Then the man introduced himself as Tom Zarek like that was supposed to mean something to her. When she showed no sign of recognizing the name Zarek just shook his head and muttered about expecting tricks from someone named Roslin. Raydor tried to talk him into giving her the gun but instead he prepared to shoot her. Luckily Tao and Sanchez found them before Zarek could pull the trigger. As Sanchez dragged the suspect out to the police car Raydor decided that this case really annoyed her.
After searching the suspect at the police station the team found out that Zarek's real name was Jimmy Kustel. Apparently Kustel thought that he really was a character from the show so he had killed the teens because they were dressed as some characters called Starbuck and Lee. When he saw Raydor he thought that she was a character and he would have killed her if Tao and Sanchez hadn't arrived when they did. The DA decided that Kustel was mentally insane and as Kustel was walked out of the interview room he saw Raydor again. He started shouting about how she had won this time and he continued to yell as they went down the hall. Raydor had finally had enough of this case so instead of following the suspect she went to her office to get some medicine for her headache.
As she shook the pills onto her hand Raydor decided that she deserved a glass of wine after dealing with this case.
