And what's this? Sara Sidle walked into the locker room about to hang up her coat and get read for another day when she saw a red envelope taped to her locker. She peeled it off the locker and opened the mysterious letter. Once she opened it, it smelled of fresh flowers. She pulled out a beautiful card that said:

Roses are red

Violets are blue

Inside your locker

Awaits a surprise for you!

She grinned thinking, I wonder what it is. And who sent it…. When the door opened she saw a small teddy bear sitting on her top shelf. In one paw held another card, and in the other a single rose. She pulled the bear out, smelled the beautiful rose, and opened the card. It read:

Happy Valentines Day, Sara!

This rose is just for you

The teddy bear was from my heart

And the card was brand new.

If you want to know who sent these,

Then go on, shake a leg.

And go see you favorite guy

That goes by the name of Greg.

When she saw the last word of the poem, her heart skipped a couple of beats, and butterflies went rampaging in her stomach. She had always liked Greg, but she was always afraid that he might blow her off like Grissom, of betray her, like Hank. So she kept her feeling to herself.

She closed the locker and took the bear, both cards, and the rose with her to the break room, looking for Greg. Shift hadn't started yet, so he might have been there. She walked faster when she saw Greg's body come into view. She opened the door and came up to him, attacking him with a giant hug. "Thank you, Greg! This has to be the sweetest thing I have ever gotten!"

He smiled as he pulled away from the hug, not wanting to let go, but still give her some space. "Well, I thought I should get something for you. It is Valentines Day. I thought you would have expected it." He said, slowly turning red.
Sara looked up at Greg with pure affection. Maybe it's time for me to forget my fear, and give in…She slowly brought her face to his, and softly put her lips against his. She moved back, and they smiled bashfully at each other.

As Sara was about to leave, Greg touched her arm and brought it in his hands. He pulled her closer and put his hand on her cheek and kissed her with all the passion he had held up the past six years. She wrapped her arms around his neck, as he moved his arms to her waist. He slowly ran his hand up and down her waist. She deepened the kiss by opening her moth and letting her tongue slide against his mouth. He did the same, and as he was about to slide his hand up the back of her shirt, Grissom opened the door to the break room while looking at a paper that he had in his hands. "Greg, make more of that coffee will ya..."He trailed off when he saw Greg and Sara against each other passionately kissing. He cleared his throat to get their attention.

Greg and Sara turned around. Sara gasped, "Grissom! I…um…"Sara tried to sputter out an explanation while Greg was blabbering, "I didn't, well see, it just happened, I'm sorry…"

Grissom put a hand up to silence them. He sighed, "look, just don't do…whatever…in here again. Wait till work is over." Grissom looked down at his paper again. If one looked close enough you can see that his face was slowly turning red. But if you see what he was feeling, one would see that he was turning green with envy.

Sara gathered up her gifts and left the room as quickly as possible, stopping at the door to wave goodbye to Greg. He waved back and turned to see Grissom with an upraised eyebrow. Greg cleared his throat and said, "So…how bout that coffee, right?"
