Alright guys bear with me now this is my first story on here and I hope it's good please leave me reviews good or bad I can take constructive criticism well. Hope you enjoy.
Of course these are not my characters and if you do not read Amelia Atwater-Rhodes books you will not know these character or the bigger story but you can still read and understand some of this.
Nicias and Hai's Story
When Nicias returned to the Wyvern's Court from Ahnmik he found Hai had waken from the shm'Ecl and was overjoyed. He had been thinking about her his entire flight home. He knew that it was her promise to him that allowed her to come back from the shm'Ecl.
Hai was glad to see that Nicias had returned to Wyvern's Court after knowing the things that happened to him while in Ahnmik. Hai missed her world in shm'Ecl more than anyone could imagine but now with Nicias she tought she could be happy outside of shm'Ecl. She thought that she would never see the real world again, but thanks to Nicias she finally had the chance to try and enjoy life outside of the shm'Ecl again.
Nicias looked at the beauty of Hai as she sat on the bed. He couldn't believe that she had come out of shm'Ecl where there is no pain or sorrows because of him. He wondered if she regretted leaving or if she was glad to be out of a fantasy world that she made.
Hai looked at Nicias with weary eyes and said, "Thank you for freeing me from my dream world. It took a lot out of me I think I need some sleep without the powers of shm'Ecl playing a role. I hope you don't mind."
"Not at all. Sleep as long as you like. I will inform my parents that you are alright and they should have a meal prepared for you when you awaken," replied Nicias. He turned to leave the room but was stopped by a sigh from Hai. "What is it," he asked hoping he had not done anything wrong.
Hai looked into Nicias's, "I was hoping that you might join me in my sleep. It has been so long since I felt the presence of another person beside me."
Nicias stood paralyzed be surprise at her request. He looked back into her deep red eyes and decided that he could use the rest anyway, after all he had just had the long flight back from Ahnmik.
Nicias didn't say a word he just walked to the bed and slid under the covers with Hai. She curled up next to him and in no time they were both asleep dreaming of the time they would spend together.
