This was in my head so I wrote it. I'm in a Naruto mode right now. Probably be writing a lot of it, but posting only some of it as I usually do. Anybody who just so happens to read this and doesn't know what Naruto is, it's on Cartoon Network (crap dub) or you can get the manga for free at hope you like this. Ok, I'll stop talking now.
'Just smile and hide it,' Naruto thought as he sat in detention, once again. They found punishing him got tiresome after a while and just stuck him in a room by himself now, usually with a teacher sitting at the desk grading papers, but ignoring him all the same.
They always told him he was too loud and the other kids all glared at him and no one picked him up after school, he had to walk back to him empty apartment alone. He would just smile and pretend it didn't hurt.
"Naruto, you may go."
He bolted out of the room as fast as his eight-year-old body would let him. It was lunch break and he'd eaten by himself in detention. Everyone else would be finished and playing games now until it was time for class to start up again.
They were all running around and laughing and smiling.
"Hey!" Naruto shouted, "I want to play!"
"You can't play, Naruto!" one of the older boys shouted back, "You're loud and stupid and nobody likes you!"
"Shut up!" Naruto yelled back! "I'm not stupid! You're stupid!"
They were all laughing at him now. He hated it. They notice him and it's only to mock him. He frowned and turned, running back inside. He went to the restroom and sat down on the toilet lid.
"Don't cry," he whispered as tears rolled down his round cheeks, "Don't cry."
No one really cared that didn't show up for class after lunch. They'd punish him for it later.
