Ways to Torture the Inuyasha Gang: Chapter One: Inuyasha

It was a sweet, modern town. A town of fashion, love, and romance. Motor scooters and cars alike drifted down the streets in a manner that made them seem harmless. Restaurants along the streets were filled with star-crossed lovers, holding hands and sipping from a drink with a rose on the table next to them. People were walking out of stores with petite shopping bags in their hand, strolling along down the street, ladies high heels clicking gracefully as they walked.

Up on a tall building, the most famous building in the country, sat a couple. The man had silver flowing hair and dog ears on his head. He had on a red Haori and his arms were folded across his chest, giving him an irritated look. The female had long black hair, gracefully spinning down her back. On her head was a red puffy hat, one native to the area. She had on a red and white striped short sleeved shirt and a red skirt.

A wind blew past the building they were on, causing the couple's hair to dance in the wind. The girl sighed contently.

"Isn't it just beautiful here, Inuyasha?" she asked the man sitting next to her, who was looking away from her, into the sky.

"Feh," was his only reply.

She looked at him and a smile half twirled her lips. "Must you always be so negative? It's Paris!" She said, her voice climbing high as it did when she was excited, and she stated moving her hands around. Pigeons who had been perched near them now fluttered away, their feathers creating a beautiful picture like effect as they fell down around the couple. "It's the city of lovers, of action, of happiness!" she said in glee.

Inuyasha kept his position, but turned his head slightly so he could stare at the girl from the corner of his eye. "Calm down before you fall off."

Kagome stopped her slight dance she had been doing and glared at the man next to her. She sighed once more and leaned back, grabbing the silver bar behind her.

"You can be so insensitive sometimes," Kagome said.

"It's not my fault!" The Hanyou protested, throwing his arms up in the air and turning to face Kagome. Kagome's face dropped and she looked hurt.

I thought maybe he would be nice on this trip. She thought. But who am I kidding, he's Inuyahsa…right?

Kagome sniffled and Inuyahsa looked over to her and his face softened. "Don't cry Kagome…" he said, his ears flat against his head.

"I'm not…" she sniffled. "Crying."

"Yes…you are," he said, going to wipe a tear from his face.

"I am not! Don't touch me! You just want to go back to Kikyo!" Kagome yelled.

"That dead corpse? No way!" Inuyasha yelled. By now, the quiet, picture perfect town was now stopped, looking up at the racket coming from the Eiffel Tower.

"Inuyasha…" Kagome said slowly. "Sit boy!" She had lost her temper and that's when she realized something. She heard the scream and knew she was correct. Leaning forward she looked over the edge in horror as she saw the back of Inuyasha's haori, falling closer and closer to the dirt. And under him…was a little old lady, doubled up and pushing a shopping cart.
