Tia walked down the hall, grumbling. Trust that idiot Mahoney to screw things up! She walked into the minister's office.

"It's gone. All of it. Every last spread of evidence on the Holborn case." Tia said.

Minister of Magic Rukia Kuchiki looked up from the large stack of papers on her desk, "What? How?"

Tia was nearly fuming, "Mahoney. The dummy not only gets himself blown up, but the evidence too!"

Rukia sighed. "I suppose, we'll have to make the best of it."

Before Tia could continue rattling on, however, Lucinda Rogers barged in. She was fuming, and even though she wasn't the biggest person, she was extremely intimidating.

"Where's that idiot DeAblo gotten to? I've been looking for him all day! I've a feeling he snuck off again!" Lucy said.

Tia looked down, immediately pitying DeAblo. Though Tia was the Head of the Auror Department, even she didn't want to get Lucy angry.

Rukia, the perfect diplomat as always, constrained her emotions, and said, "Have you checked the closets?"

Lucy's mouth opened her mouth to argue, then shut it and spluttered, "Well, no, but I will now!" And ran off in search of the missing Auror.

Alejandro jumped back just in time to avoid being hit by Lucy. "DeAblo missing again?" He chuckled, "Anyway, I have some information on an underground Snigget selling ring, should I take it to the Magical Creatures Department or give it to the Aurors?" He held up some files

Tia coughed and took the files from him, "I've an idea."

She called, "DEABLO!" And suddenly a wizard, who looked more like a punk rocker than an Auror, apparated in front of her.

Tia handed him the files and said, "You're working with Lucy on this."

Alejandro glanced at DeAblo, and made his exit quickly before things got ugly.

DeAblo's jaw dropped, "You want my to work with that... That PSYCHO woman?! She'll be the death of me! You can't stick me with her! I'll... I'll..."

Just then Lucy appeared in the doorway, panting, "I've checked all the closets but-" Just then she spotted DeAblo. Her eyes filled with rage. "You...little..." She looked like she might punch him.

Tia smirked, "Work nicely and maybe you'll get promoted."

DeAblo's head drooped and anyone could see that a promotion was the last thing on his mind.

Lucy straightened up and gave a little salute, "So I'll be working with this slacker? Good. Maybe I can whip him into shape." She prodded DeAblo's side roughly, "So what's the case?"

Rukia shook her head, "If you're going to fight, please do it outside. This is a new desk."

Tia said, "I've no doubt that if anyone can whip DeAblo into shape, it's you. Anyway, it's a smuggling ring. I've some paperwork to do, so I won't be much help."

Lucy nodded, "I understand."

"I can't hit a lady," DeAblo moaned to the Minister.

Lucy smacked his head, "Well this lady could beat you any day, buddy!" She said, poking him again, "Now come on, I've to stop by my office and pick up some things. Now get moving slacker!"

DeAblo groaned and looked at the Minister, "I'd better be getting a raise for this." He stepped out to follow Lucy who'd already walked off.

Rukia looked at Tia, "Paperwork?"

Tia shrugged, "Since Hogwarts has arranged for its students to visit, I've to fill out a ton of liability papers."

Rukia's mouth twitched, as Tia apparated out.
