Overall summary:various possibilities as to what Tony DiNozzo's dying words will be.

Chapter 1:Okay, so it's not Morocco.

Chapter 2:"Remind me again, how long has it been peaceful here?" Tony demanded in the streets of County Longford.

Chapter 3:Well, McGee got it half right – they're on the beaches of Israel, at least.

"You know, I kinda thought that, on a scale of one to ten, this was supposed to be an eleven," DiNozzo said.

"The shot was clean," Ziva said. "Aimed so as to avoid nerve bundles."

Tony didn't shoot off a wisecrack or retort – he could see she was trying to keep her voice level; and if she needed to be dispassionate and at an emotional distance to do it, Fine by me. "How considerate," he said.

"Don't die, DiNozzo."

"I'll admit it's a little tempting right now."

"You really think McGee's up to filling your shoes?" Ziva asked, figuring that, if nothing else worked, that that would be effective.

"You're right – Probie's not ready to be me, but then, he'll probably never get that advanced. Still, at least now I won't be senior field agent."

"I think he'd prefer you be senior, to you not being there."

"And a rhyme," Tony said, smiling, which got Ziva to smile. "Clearly I've taught you all I can. Now I must move on, allowing you to grow still further."

"No! No, Ton-"

"It's a hill of beans," Tony told Ziva, right hand slowly approaching her cheek – he couldn't move any faster, at least not right now. Ducky'd said that sudden movement would agitate the bullet. "But it's our hill of beans."

"I wouldn't've minded going to the Casbah with you, Tony," Ziva said.

He smiled and slipped away.
