She got the walkers away from him and was able to run through the woods to safety, before she saw them. She could not believe it, they were alive, she was frightened, afraid that they would leave her again. So she decided to follow them, Daryl had taught her to track pretty well without being noticed. She did not want to to expose herself until she knew that she was not being followed by walkers or anyone from the hospital, she had to keep them safe. Then she saw her sister, her hair was longer and she was thinner then the last time they saw each other, when the prison had fallen and they had lost their father. Beth wanted so bad to go up to her sister, but she was afraid. Afraid that she would be putting everyone in danger. She decided to wait and see if he would be able to catch up to her, hoping he was still alive. She set up a bed of leaves to sleep on and kept her knife at her side and waited.
She did not know when she had fallen asleep or how long she had been out but when she awoke there was silence. She was aware that the group was gone, she got up and walked towards where she had seen them last. It was empty, she checked the coals in the fire and realized that they were still warm. If she picked up their trail she would be able to catch them. She started walking, checking for tracks every once and a while. She had seen Maggie, Glenn, Bob and Sasha. They were with people that she did not know. She did not see Rick or Daryl, she hoped that they were okay. She knew that they could take care of themselves and that they would not do anything that could cost their safety. Moving at a decent pace she allowed her thoughts to wander, she reminisced her life on the farm before the outbreak, she was just a shy girl who focused on her studies and stayed out of trouble. Suddenly she fell, she had not been paying close attention and twisted her ankle in a hole. While she was trying to get up from the ground, she heard it, the low growl of a walker. She did not have time to react she tried to reach for her knife but it was stuck. She realized that she was trapped and had no way to escape, so she yelled for help hoping it wouldn't get her killed.
