Chapter One
It was a dark night and some children ran down the road they were on, there bones were small and still being developed but they were screaming at them telling them to stop and just lay down and die but they knew they couldn't. They continued running until they reached an alley way.
" Dead end" the little boy shouted throwing his arms in the air.
His sister shouted in frustration cursing herself. Just then a man came into the same alley way his eyes were red, he was tall and well built. He licked his lips and carried on walking towards the pair. They backed up reaching the wall the man smiled and opened his mouth to speak but before he could, a girl full in black with a mix of blue and purple hair jumped from a building landing right in front of him.
"Preying on little children now surely hunting has not gotten that bad" the girl said amused at how pathetic he was she didn't look ghoul but then again you couldn't tell if she was human either.
"Get lost this is my hunting area" the man said trying to face the children, but the girl was blocking his view, and the man sighed.
"Tell you what we can talk after I'm done with my meal" the man said.
The children squealed and were probably crying as well. The woman lifted her top up from behind her let her kangune flow out of her she sent it at the man and it impaled with ease him she lifted him up and went face to face.
"Try and kill children again and I'm going to cut you up into little pieces and eat you myself" she sneered.
The man lifted himself up from the kangune and jumped away. She let her kangune dissipate into red smoke and faced the children.
"Are you going to kill us" the little boy asked terrified.
"Of course not now run along home before you get into another position like that" she said sounding a lot softer now.
"Erm... miss we don't have a home that man was our carer" the little girl stated.
" well... maybe... you can come live with me until I can sort you guys out" she said.
They took a while to answer but soon agreed.
"Erm... miss what's your name" the boy asked still quite nervous.
"You can call me Yui" she answered. "Yui... kenakue.
A/N Hi guys this is my first tokyo ghoul fanfic so please be kind with reviews remember though, criticism makes me a better writer. I know this chapter is very short but I just want to get my story out there because I do not see enough good tokyo ghoul fanfics. :)
P/S if you give me a character I can put them into the story it can be made up or it could be an original character.
