"Welcome, welcome one and all!" The automated voice sang. I mouthed the words as it went along, knowing them all too well.
"Come on in! Here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, dreams come to life in the most magi- CAL oF waaaaaaayyyyysss…" The voice sputtered and choked on itself. I sighed. The days of wonder and magic in this place were long over, but no one had bothered to properly close it down. The door was simply barred shut to prevent anything from getting or out. Trees had grown around and on the building, and in some areas there were thick with layers of dust.
Since the murders, very little was changed. The old animatronics were towed out. Any Toy Animatronics had been left in here. The company that built us had gone under, and the engineers had changed professions. We were just… here.
There wasn't much to do. To prove my point, I hadn't moved in days. But now the silence began to eat away at what a human may call 'sanity.' I growled to myself, raising my slender body from the present that had once been a bright blue and purple. The colored had faded to their pastel counterparts since, their energy ebbing away. I wrapped my slender fingers around the music boxes' crank, twisting a few times. As the melody played out, I looked at all the the little stuffed creatures that would have been available to children. They looked so happy in the face of such suffering- as we had suffered.
Abandonment had left us quite bitter. Maybe we weren't human, but we were close.
Why didn't they just destroy us? It would've been so easy, such a quick solution- even a human could think that up.
Did they mean for us to suffer?
I sighed as the beautiful metallic clanking of the music slowed to a stop.
I was nearing the end of this cliff of sanity, and I had no more strings to pull to keep from falling.
