When Tom Met Harry

Thomas 'Tom' Marvolo Riddle was what many would consider a recluse. He wasn't a public person, he had few friends and was very happy to just sit at his desk running one of the leading intelligence agencies, DeathEaters Inc. Which is the reason why so many would be shocked to know that the young entrepreneur was sitting in a little bakery down the street from the headquarters of his agency.

What Tom did not know on that chilled autumn day was that the owner of the bakery was a young man. An attractive young man. So when Hadrian Potter exited the door from his kitchen to the ringing of a bell to serve the young entrepreneur, well, Tom was in for a bit of a shock. He stared as the young looking baker came closer to the front counter, 'he can't be any more then what, seventeen? Eighteen? Wow. A soothing tenor brought his attention out of his musings on age to the jade toned eyes of the baker.

"Hello, how many I help you today?"

"May I get a blueberry muffin and a hot chocolate?" He replied to the question as his teal eyes observed the tilted chefs hat on a bed of shaggy ink black hair. There eyes caught for a moment, and a tint of pink graced the high cheekbones of the chef 'how utterly adorable' Tom thought to himself.

"I'll be right back with your order sir. May I ask your name so I can bring it to you? Was the murmured response and he replied in kind. "My name is Tom, Tom Riddle"

"Okay Tom, I'll be back soon with your order. Please make yourself comfortable at a table." With that lasting reply the young man went to busy himself with making the drink while Tom, a faint pout on his pale face sat at a stool along the counter.

It was but a few scant minutes before the rich aroma of cocoa wafted from the kitchen and Thomas felt his mouth water instantly. The scent was ensnaring, while delicious and delicate. 'What a marvellous smell' was the thought that ran through his head. Unknowingly teal eyes closed as another softer scent reached the air, fresh cooked blueberries.

"Tom" The soft tenor called, and he opened his eyes, instantly locking onto jaded green

"Here is your order."

"Ah thank you..."

"Hadrian, Hadrian Potter. I prefer Harry though"

"A pleasure, Harry," He purred and was delighted in the shudder that ran through the petite body across the counter. Tom casually checked his watched and cursed at the time. He had a meeting at 10! He watched as Hadrian's eyes met his at the curses and smiled.

"I must be off, work to do you know. I shall be back however Harry. The bakery is simply marvellous" And with that parting remark he left the bakery and wandered back down the street, passing by the people swarming around him. Thomas was just reaching the parking lot when he turned back and saw the inky hair and jade eyes staring out from behind the door. He smiled, raised his plastic cup filled with drink and tipped the chef before wandering in for his meeting.

~Mini Epilogue~

The next three months passed quickly in the mind of Thomas Riddle. Filled with meetings, people and delicious days at Harry's bakery. His small smile graced his face as he walked toward the bakery his mind filling with thoughts of the little spitfire and of his soft hair and jewel toned eyes. Small calloused fingers brought him out of his thoughts.

"What are you thinking about m'love?" Came the question.

"You," was all the reply needed as he swooped down for a simple chaste kiss.
