You would see the real me

You would hear all my dreams

If you really listen

You would hear my voice

You would hear my soul sing to you

If you really see me

You would see all the good that's within me

You would see all my hopes

Why can't you see all I have done just for you?

Why can't you hear my voice calling to you?

If you really listen, if you really see me

You would see my sadness and pain

You would hear me crying out for you

If you can't listen if you can't see me

You would never see the real me
