A/N: Narcissa's journey to Hogwarts with her sisters. Just a short one-shot, written for SU's "I Never" challenge. Narcissa's POV.

NARCISSA'S FIRST DAY

I was standing nervously on the train station. Today was my first day of school and I was worried. My whole family, except my sister Andromeda, was in Slytherin. What if I went somewhere else? I would dissapoint everyone.

"Ah, there are your sisters, Narcissa!" said my Mother, snapping me out of my thoughts.

Indeed, Bellatrix and Andromeda were walking in my direction. Andromeda was beginning her third and Bellatrix her fifth year at Hogwarts. Mother turned around to face me.

"Goodbye, Narcissa," she said. "Listen to your sister."

I noticed how she had said 'sister' instead of 'sisters'. She hadn't been so fond of Andromeda ever since she was sorted into Hufflepuff. I nodded and said goodbye to Mother. I walked over to my sisters, who were waiting beside the train.

"So, finally going to Hogwarts, huh, Cissy?" said Andromeda and I grinned at her.

The three of us entered the train and sat in an empty compartment.

Andromeda smiled at me and said: "Don't worry, Cissa, you're going to love Hogwarts".

"Really?" I asked.

Bellatrix frowned and said: "Way too many Mudbloods, if you ask me".

"Well no one asked you, Bella. Don't be rude" scolded Andromeda.

Bellatrix sniggered and shook her head.

"We can't all have a twisted point of view like you, Dromeda."

Andromeda got up and shouted: "You're the one with the twisted point of view, Bellatrix!"

I really hated it when they fought, but it was like the love between them just broke when Andromeda was sorted into Hufflepuff. I didn't mind, but Bellatrix did. A lot.

"At least I don't lust after a filthy Mudblood!" yelled Bellatrix. "I've seen the way you look at that Ned Bonks, or whatever his name is, like he's a god or something, when he's just a Mudblood!"

"He's name is Ted Tonks, Bellatrix, and he's a very sweet guy" said Andromeda. "If you weren't so busy lusting after You-Know-Who, maybe you would notice people around you more!"

Bellatrix looked ready to hex Andromeda, when I stood up.

"Stop it! Both of you, just stop fighting!" I yelled. They stopped moving and looked at me, surprised. "Can't there be at least one peaceful moment without you two yelling at each other?!"

They sat on their seats, flushed and angry. The rest of the ride went peacefully. After a few hours, the train finally stopped. Bellatrix and Andromeda took the carriage, while I took a boat. I was afraid that at least one of them would be seriously hurt when they reached Hogwarts.

When we entered the castle, it was time for the Sorting. I was really worried, but also very excited. My name was third on the list.

"Black, Narcissa!" called Professor McGonagall.

I walked up to the wooden stool and put on the hat. Suddenly, I heard a voice.

"So, another Black? I sorted your sisters a few years ago. Your sister Andromeda was very difficult to sort".

Please, Mr. Hat, I thought, Please, all I want is not to disappoint my family. Please!

I heard the hat sigh.

"Not to disappoint your family, huh? Are you sure that's what you want?" the hat asked me.

I begged him to understand.

"Well, if that's what you REALLY want, than it better be SLYTHERIN!"

I smiled and left to sit at the Slytherin table. Bellatrix patted me on the back.

I caught sight of Andromeda, shaking her head in disappointment. Later, I saw her talking to a tall, brown-haired fellow, whom I presumed was Ted Tonks.

While I was walking towards my dormitory, a tall boy approached me. He had shoulder-length blonde hair and a bit of an arrogant face.

"Hi, I'm Lucius" he said. "I'm in my second year. I could show you the way to our Common room, if you want. I know more shortcuts than the Prefects". I smiled at him and we talked all the way to the Dungeons.

I had a feeling Hogwarts was going to be great.
