Ronnie's point of view;
"You look…. Different dressed like that", Jonah said as he starred at me with a puzzled expression. I was dressed with a formal-red dress for my performance. I sighted but didn't fight back; after all, today was my special day. Mother gave Jonah a look, and he closed his mouth before saying anything else.
"You look beautiful" Said Kim, my mother.
"Thanks, but I only wish father was here to see me…" A tear spilled down my cheek, and I quickly covered my face. I wouldn't let Jonah see me cry, not here. I was accepted to Julliard's, and today I was going to play in front of a huge audience.
"Hey, I'm sorry for coming late. But you know I wouldn't miss this day, right?" I gasped when I heard that voice.
I turned around and yelled his name, "Will! I knew you would show up." H e placed his arms around me and I hugged him back. I gave him a quick kiss while Jonah said "Gross" Will looked at him and laughed. "You'll do that someday" I told him. And I sat by the piano while Will, Jonah and Kim sat at the first row. I looked around; The theater was full.
I started playing, feeling the music. My fingers moved swiftly through the piano keys. I closed my eyes, and I felt like I was with dad again. We had always had a connection through music, except a few years ago. But we had connected again last year, the year he died.
Memories were coming back to me as I played my favorite song. Dad's song. I had helped him finished it last year, since his fingers were already weak from cancer. I knew he would have been so proud of me.
Will's point of view:
The melody she was playing was beautiful, just like her. I could see her head was filled with memories and different emotions. She was still very sad, and I was too, her dad had been a very good man.
I looked at my side; Jonah could tell which song it was.
When the song ended, I was the first one to cheer. And then I stood up, and gave her a flower, which was very easy since we were at the first row. She smiled at me, and I felt like the world had stopped. I was in love with her, not other girl had made me feel like this.
