My first chapter of my first story, excellent! Hopefully I can write something worth reading, but that's up to you, the reader. I intend for this to be a few chapters, but that'll be up to the (credible) advice of those who read this.

Credit for Stormhawks goes to the folks at Nerdcorp, although I'd be happy to buy it off them.

Chapter I

Sticky Situations- They are the Bomb.

"Faren! Finn! When I get my hands on you two, you'll wish you'd never been born!"

I share a bemused grin with Finn- we're both wondering what we are in trouble for this time. Did she find our 'surprise' Slime Bomb in her bed? Perhaps it's the fact we put a sheet of glass over her d-

"OWWW! What in Atmos is in front of the door!"

Ah, that would be the glass. So that means it Was the Slime Bomb. Amazing what happens when a Slime Crystal and Heating Crystal have contact. Piper should have never shared that tidbit with Finn, anyone should have seen that one coming.

"So, Uncle." I oh-so-casually lean against the door control. "How much you want to bet she'll catch you first?"

"Please. I'm surprised she can even walk- I tested the slime bomb on some Cyclonians, and they couldn't move for days."

Oh, he fell for that hook, line and sinker. "Then what are you afraid of? Loser does two months of chores. For Storkk."

For a second, I think I may have pushed it a little too far- doing chores for Storkk is every living things' nightmare. He is... picky.

"You're on, little boy."

No one calls me little boy. He is going down.

"Well, let's see how well you do WHEN I LOCK YOU OUT OF THE HANGER." Before he can react, I spin and shut the door. then I lock and, just to be sure, I put a slime bomb to the door. If he opens it, he is going to get a taste of his own medicine.

It doesn't take long before a hear him banging the door. "Come on, this is not fair! Open the the door!" Finn whines. "You have to show your Uncle some mercy!"

I let out a evil laugh. "MWAHAHAHA! Should have thought about that before you called me 'little boy', Broken Strings."

There's a pause. It's surprising how malevolent a pause can be. "It's on, little boy. Just you wait until I open this door..."

I run to my Skimmer, and grab the final touch to my Uncles humiliation- a video camera. He'll never hear the end of this.

Satisfied with my final touch, I fly out of the Hanger and into the tunnels. I know the perfect hideout.

I am going to kill those two. The Slime bomb was one thing, but setting up a glass wall that is currently stuck to my face and chest? Not cool.

"Faren! I know the glass wall was your idea. I'm going to ground you for the rest of t-"

I turn the corner to the hanger- where else would they run?- and am rendered speechless by the sigh in front of me. The door to the hanger is forced open, bent and dented. And Finn is... also slimed?! He's stuck to the floor, the door is on top of him, and saying things I hope I never hear again.

I shake my head and recover from being caught off guard. "Finn," I began furiously, slowly stumbling sideways through the hallway. "you have a butt-kicking coming your way. I'll take it easy on you if you tell me where Faren is."
