She Took Her Life Before She Could Run Away
She folded up the tear-stained paper, as she shakily stood up from her desk. She knew what she had to do. It was time to end all of this pain. She knew how many people she would hurt and how many wouldn't care a bit. But she knew that the world would be better off when she stepped down. She knew that everything would be better if she was gone. She was the problem; and she had found the solution. She wiped her tear-stained face, as she slowly opened her window. Her eyes glanced toward the flashing clock, as she knew it was the perfect time.
She climbed onto the tree and started making her way down. She started walking away from her house. She quickly made her way to her destination, her fingers taping rapidly on her shorts covered legs. She finally got to her destination, as she walked up to the front door of the house she had so many wonderful times in. Her best friends live here, well, her ex-best friends. She knew that these people behind these brick walls would be the ones who benefit the most. They wouldn't have to deal with her anymore, and that's all she wanted. She just wanted to fly.
She sat the folded note on the doormat and rang the doorbell several times. She then quickly ran off, back towards her home. Her pace was quick, knowing that she didn't have much time. Once she got back to her home, she climbed up the tree and practically fell through the window, her eyes blurry from un-fallen tears. She hastily went into her bathroom and started filling up her bath tub with water. She pulled out her utensil of choice and sat it on the edge of her bath-tub. She turned off the water, sat looked in the mirror.
She hated the reflection looking back at her. She didn't like this version of herself. She wants to get out of this life; she wants everything to stop; she wants all of the pain to stop. She knew she would be an ultimate version of herself once she got out of this life. She knew what lengths she had to go to, to make sure she would be gone.
She shakily turned to the bath tub and got in, her t-shirt and shorts soaking in the water. She picked up the razor blade, as she held it to her arm. She pushed it sharply into her skin, as the gash opened, as she gasped. She sliced open her other arm, as blood poured out her already life-less body and into the red colored water. She was feeling herself beginning to fade, as she made on last cut on her now deformed arms, and the razor blade dropped into the water.
Everything was fading, as she knew she was going to a better place. Everything would stop hurting.
The boy who found the note had no time to do anything, as all he could do was re-read the words over and over again.
Dear Nicholas,
It's time for me to leave. You'll be much better off without me. Don't try and stop me, because the time you read this, it will be too late. It's better this way. I love you, and I will be looking over you in heaven. I love you, Nicholas, don't ever doubt that. I know this is hard, but it's better off this way. I'm angel now and I can't feel anymore of this pain. I know you don't understand why, but please just get over me and move on. I want you to be happy, Nicky. Please just be happy. That's all I want. Pretty soon everyone will find out what happened, but I wanted you to be the first one to know; I love you Nicholas, forever and always.
Love Miley
