Booth walked in there with only her in mind. He was in here a year ago, but he was misguided at the time. He didn't belong there then, but he does now. He saw it and he knew it was hers. He probably even knew it back then, as it was his first choice. But his mind was clouded then, and he was horribly mistaken. But now everything was clear to him. Everything he had lost sight of was now brought back into view. He walked out of there with a small box in his hand; a box that held something he was hoping she would accept.

"Booth, where are we going?" Brennan asked. "And why is your t-shirt tied around my face? I find I am uncomfortable with the lack of control in this situation. I'm taking it off!"

"No, Bones. Leave it- we're almost there," Booth replied, as the car came to a stop. "Wait there, I'm coming around to get you."

"Booth! What is going on?"

He opened the passenger door, grabbed her hand, and helped her out of the car.

"Booth! Booth, what are we doing?"

"Can you stop talking for one second? Just follow me."

They continued walking until they reached their destination. Booth looked around, this place all too familiar. He hoped it would be different this time. He reached towards her and untied his FBI t-shirt from around her face.

"Why are we outside the Hoover building, Booth?"

"Just listen to me for a second. Okay, Bones?"

"Is everything alright, Booth?" she asked.

"Yes, it's fine.. listen. Bones, you... you're so important to me. And for a while, you know, I forgot that. But I'm still that guy, Bones. I still know. It's you. It's always been you. Right from the beginning."

"Booth..."

"Stop Bones, don't say anything,"

He got down on his knee and staring into her big beautiful eyes that were quickly becoming filled with tears said, "Will you marry me, Temperance?"

She looked to her left and read the six words that hadn't meant much to her before.

Nothing happens unless first a dream.

"Yes"
