Hi! So I've recently become obsessed with Dominique Weasley, I have no idea why. I just love the idea of this daughter of Fleur and Bill being the black sheep of the family. I know it's pretty weird, but what can ya do? Anyway, this is more so a drabble. So enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own any person or object in the story. Just the basic plot, and it's been done thousands of time here. :)
Dominique. That's all she was. Just the curly haired, green eyed, youngest child of Fleur Delacour and Bill Weasley.
Who was she? She wasn't super smart like her cousin Rose. She wasn't witty like Lily. She had never found a natural affinity for trouble-making like James and Fred. And she sure as hell was not Victoire.
Victoire. That name hit her like a ton of bricks every time she heard it. Absolutely perfect, was Victoire. Everyone thought so. So beautiful with her pin straight, silvery-blonde hair and perfectly sculpted features from her delicate bone structure to her elegance and poise. She was the star Chaser for Gryffindor. She achieved top-grades in school and made Gryffindor prefect and then Head Girl. Her parents were so proud. The whole bloody family was.
But never of Dominique.
She could never quite figure out who she was meant to be. She was just so different to the majority of the family, but just like her favourite cousins Albus and Roxanne, she enjoyed shocking the Weasley-Potter clan. She hated when people made assumptions about her because of her sister and so she made it impossible for them to do so.
Yes, Dominique smiled at her reflection as she pushed her curly, reddish-gold hair away from her face. She really had shocked them all this time. No one expected this, not even her parents. And, her green eyes gleamed, somehow, that made this bitter event a whole lot sweeter.
Still smiling, she fixed her green and silver tie and stood tall. With her new friends, she exited the Slytherin common room with her head held high, to face the gobsmacked and slightly furious band of Weasley/Potter cousins in the Great Hall.
So? Hope you liked it! Please review, I appreciate it. Thanks so much for reading!
