Smoothly caressing his body with her own, gently tickling his skin, he watched as she went further up his arm, seemingly aiming for the neck.

He found it hard to think of something any more beautiful than this, since she was just to perfect.

Her way of moving was spellbinding, hypnotizing him by the mere look.

The faint, almost indetectable scent she carried was addictive, he just had to get her close enough so he could feel it.

She was a mystery to him, yet the most simple and natural thing in the entire world.

What did she do all day long, when he wasn't around?

Did she explore the deep woods behind the house, since that was where he'd usually find her?

Was she resting herself somewhere, waiting for something to happen, as he would do from time to time?

Could it even be so that she simply spent her days thinking about the next time they'd see each other, just as he found himself doing much more often these days?

Spending just a few spare moments with her was everything, he thought, as he felt their time running out.

Some day, not to far away from now, he'd call out for her with no response.

A chill went though his body, making him shake to his core, as he knew how true those thoughts were.

A lot was unspoken between the two of them, yet he couldn't think of a single thing he wanted to tell her.

All he wanted was to have her close, not knowing when would be the last time.

A voice cried out his name, calling him towards it.
He had to go, whether he wanted to or not.

"Goodbye, my precious friend", he whispered, as he got up. "May we meet again."

Taking flight from the palm of his hand, Shino watched the ladybug fly towards the tallest tree in the woods.

Was this the last time?

He didn't know, but if it were, he'd at least remember her for as beautiful as she were to him, his precious ladybug.
