Little Dean Ambrose sat on his bed in his room, curled up into a ball. His blankets were damp- due to tears, that did not seem to cease.
He was upset. He was hurt. He was confused. He was sad.
"How could this happen to me?" He sniffled to himself.
"Why did Daddy Sethie walk out on me and Daddy Roman?"
The bedroom door creaked open.
"How are you holding up?" Roman Reigns, or "Daddy Roman" asks, sitting down on the bed, and placing a large hand on Dean's back.
"Why did Daddy Sethie leave?" Dean sniffled and looked up at Roman with blue eyes, flooding with tears.
"I don't know why he left, buddy."
"Does he think I'm useless? Because I'll change! I'll do better in school! I'll eat my broccoli!"
"You're perfect the way you are, Deanie. And I know he doesn't think you're useless. I don't think your useless."
"Then why did he leave?" Dean begs to know the answer.
"I really don't know the answer to that." Roman sighs and pulls Dean in for a hug.
"What are we gonna do without Daddy Sethie?"
"We'll straighten our backs up, and face the world stronger than ever. Just me and you. I promise I'll never leave you, Deanie."
"Promise?"
"I promise. We'll get through this. I promise. Now try to get some sleep. We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow." Roman states, and tucks Dean in for bed.
Roman kisses Dean on the forehead and says goodnight.
He shuts off the lights and closes Dean's bedroom door.
He certainly hoped things would work out for them.
It was going to be weird without Seth around.
