There were two in the world, two to love.
The son of Zeus, and the son of Neptune.
There was a part of her heart that loved Jason with every single fiber, and another part that loved Percy so much that it hurt.
She couldn't fathom this love, she couldn't bat it away like every other pain of her life.
She couldn't gain their love.
But she had lost him, the son of the sky, the perfect boy, the one she had thought might understand.
He was gone, and he was lost.
And then there was the son of the sea, the smiling, humorous, loyal, son of Poseidon.
She thought perhaps she could finally gain love.
She thought that maybe it could be a happy ending for her, that she would have one to love and one to lose.
She had lost the son of the sky, but she could love the son of the sea.
Or so she thought.
