Think:
The War weary United States discovers life beyond that which is Known.
To get their people's focus off of war, the President announced a space project.
This gets the People looking to the stars, the government sends a team to explore this discovery.
The most elite of the Navy SEALs, a team lead by Carmen Zarrata are given the task.
In ten years time, If they do not make contact with Earth a new team will be assembled, specially designed for recon.
Their Mission, bring back SEAL team 9-11.
