"Roger where are we going?" cried Mimi
"Now if i told you it wouldnt be a suprise." Roger replied
The couple gained many stares as they navigated through Alphabet
City.
"Roger you better stop now if-"
"We're here." he said, removing her blindfold.
Mimi was struck completely speechless by the sight before
her.
Roger had come ahead and covered their favorite part of the
nearby park with sparkling, white lights and had put together a picnic
for the two of them.
"Oh, umm I'm sorry! I thought you would like it. We can go somewhere
else" he stammered
"No,Roger, its beautiful!" she cried
"You really like it?" he asked anxiously
"Yeah, I do" Mimi said giving him a kiss
The couple soon moved on to the food but were soon lost in
conversation. They didn't even noticethe temperature dropping and clouds
rolling in. Suddenly, the sky opened up just as the lovers were locked
in a passionate kiss.
Suddenly realization hit and the couple burst out laughing.
"C'mon lets get inside" laughed Roger
They then proceeded to the loft where they found Mark.
"Hey guys! Whats up?" He asked
"Well we were on our date and BAM rain was pourin'." replied the
musician
"Aww well that sucks." said Mark
"Yeah it does but what can you do?" replied Mimi
"Well do you guys want some coffee or something while you're here?"
asked the filmmaker
"Sure." they both answered
All night long the three friends chatted about everything
and nothing until Mimi finally drifted off to sleep on Roger's
shoulder.
"Meems, maybe you should go to bed"Roger laughed
"Mmkay. Night boys." she yawned
After Mimi had left the best friends remained on the
couch in silence until it was broken by Mark.
"I think we may have found our newest membr of the family. Shes a
keeper Roger"
" She is Mark, she really is."
