Alright, so this idea or plot is from justkeeptyping. It takes place in season 1, since in season 2, Mara broke up with Mick.

Jerome Clarke. When most people hear that name a few things come to mind. A sneak, jokester, blackmailer, prankster, and some other names that are non-repeatable. But does anybody ever wonder why he's like that? Why he's always pranking with Alfie Lewis? And does anyone look further into him, to know what he's really like? The sweet, sensitive side of Jerome?
Only one person knows that side. Mara Jaffray. The mathlete that's dating the athlete, Mick Campbell. And not only does Jerome hate Mick, he loves Mara. But it's not like he would admit that, he has a reputation that he wants to maintain. But, if Mara were to ever break up with Mick, well, that's a completely different story. But that's not going to happen any time soon.
Mara is completely happy with Mick, and Jerome knows that. And that's the reason he's not going to mess with their relationship. Because if he does, Mara would hate him, and he could never deal with that.
So until they break up, Jerome will just grin and bear it. But, in the meantime, what's a few harmless pranks on Mick gonna hurt?
