Aang paced the floors back and forth. He walked into his bathroom and looked in his mirror. "Hey, Toph, I was wondering if you maybe wanted to, no that wouldn't work!" The teen said, getting frustrated.
He looked in the mirror again, getting a sly look on his face. "Hey, babe, you and me, movies. Sound good? Gah! This is hopeless!" Aang said. If he had hair, he would have pulled it out by now.
'Cursed Hormones. Making me fall for my best friend.' Aang thought as an image of Toph popped into his head.
"Why must I be so shy? This should be simple. If she says yes, it will be awesome. But if she rejects me, she won't even be my friend. I give up!"

Aang walked up to Toph. She looked at him as he approached her locker.
"So Toph, wanna go to the movies?" Aang asked.
"Like a date?"
"Not like, an actual date." Aang said with a smirk.
"When?" Toph asked, slightly excited. On second thought, extremely excited.
"Right now." Aang said as he started to walk outside with Toph in tow. He opened the door to his silver sleek corvette and Toph climbed in. 'Didn't he have a Junker? Where'd he get this?'
Toph put her hand out the window as Aang drove to the cinema. She was surprised when Aang didn't scold her for that. After driving for a while, they arrived. They paid for tickets to an action comedy movie, got one thing of popcorn, and two sodas. The two made their way to the back of the theater where no people were. They were all upfront.
About halfway through the movie, Aang 'yawned' and his arm landed over Toph's shoulder. 'He wouldn't.' Aang looked at Toph and started to slowly move in. 'He would! What to do? What to do? Just kiss him you fool! You know you want to!' Toph closed her eyes and leaned in the rest of the way. Their lips brushed so slightly.
Suddenly, an air horn was blown in Toph's ear. It blew again as she woke up from her dream. She slammed her hand down on her alarm clock and got out of bed. She walked into her bathroom and looked in the mirror. "Why must he be so… shy? The guy asks out the girl, but Twinkles would be to shy to ask me out. If he even likes me. Gah! This is hopeless!" Toph yelled in frustration.
