Random Jarlos fluff :D

It was 3 AM and Carlos couldn't sleep. It was incredibly windy outside the wind was strong enough to make the windows shake a bit. Every time they would shake it would startle Carlos. Over the last few days it had been raining and thundering and Carlos hated it storms always sort of freaked him out.

Ever since he was small the sound of thunder scared him he would always go into his parents room and slept with them during the storms having someone there with him calmed him down. Tonight he was in bed with his boyfriend James but the taller boy was sound asleep with his back turned to the Latino. Carlos was a little afraid but didn't want to wake up James. He didn't want James to think he was a total wuss.

Lighting struck and a powerful sound of thunder was heard. Carlos jumped and covered himself with the blanket over his head as he involuntarily let out a whimper. The sound of the thunder and Carlos' little jump woke James from his slumber.

He opened his eyes slowly and looked over at the clock. 3:36 AM. Just when he was going to go back to sleep he heard Carlos whimper. He quickly turned around and saw that Carlos was under the blanket.

''Babe?'' James called.

''Hmm'' Carlos responded.

''You ok?'' James asked.

''Yea'' Carlos lied.

Just then another sound of thunder struck and made Carlos gasp. The Latino came out from underneath the covers and got really close to James and held on to him. James wrapped his strong arms around his boyfriend and hugged him tight.

''It's ok baby it's just a storm'' James assured Carlos.

''I hate it Jamie.'' Carlos said.

''I know baby I'm here don't worry.'' James responded as he rubbed his boyfriends back in an attempt to calm him. He looked around and saw his boyfriends helmet on the bedside table on Carlos' side he reached for it and placed it on the Latinos head.

''There. Now nothing will hurt you. You have your helmet on.'' James smiled.

Carlos giggled. ''Yea can we still cuddle? I like being like this.''

''Of course.'' James responded as he cuddled closer to Carlos.

Lighting struck once again and thunder was heard. James expected Carlos to do something but Carlos stayed still.

''That didn't freak you out?'' James questioned.

''Nope. Because I have my helmet.'' Carlos said as he tapped it twice. ''And I feel the safest when I'm in your arms.''

James smiled at that, he leaned in kissed his boyfriend. ''Love you.''

''I love you too baby.'' Carlos said as he closed his eyes.

And with that they slept soundly in each others arms happily.
