Elrohir's P.O.V.
I knew I was being followed though my...pursuer was quite good at it. However the light flashing off her crystal wings gave her away. I glance back again. There was no revealing flash of light. What the heck? Where did she go? I thought and as I turned to keep going my pursuer dropped out of the trees in front of me. "I should have known." I said. She laughed. Her blue eyes sparkled with delight. I once again felt the urge to kiss her but kept it under control.
"I knew my wings would give me away on the ground so I took to the trees," She said tucking stray strands of black hair behind her ears. "No one EVER thinks to look up." She smiled. I smile back.
"Well next time I'll make sure to check the trees as well." I said and she laughed. Her eyes held a challenge. "I'll race you back to Imladris!" I call running off. I look up. She had taken flight.
Amalas' P.O.V.
I rise into the sky. I knew I could easily beat the wingless elf prince below. I turned towards Imladris and flew. As I flew I thought of the feelings I got when I saw him. I like these feelings and yet I don't like them. I thought. I landed lightly by the fountain in Imladris.
"Amalas!" A voice called. Coming towards me was Elrond, lord of Imladris. Prince Elrohir came up to me. I simply smile.
"You beat me." He said/complained. I smack him in the back of the head with my right wing.
"It seems I'm faster than you." I said before turning to talk with Elrond. After dinner Prince Elrohir sought me out. He invited me to walk with him.
Elrond's P.O.V.
I watch over my son and our winged guest Princess Amalas of the Wild Elves of the Misty Mountains as they walked together through Imladris. He touched her wings and a shudder passed through her. He took his hand away.
"Am I doing something wrong?" He asked. Princess Amalas shook her head.
"Among my people when two people touch their wings together it means they like each other a lot. Sometimes they touch each others' wings with their hands," Princess Amalas explained. "Don't you wingless ones have similar ways of telling someone you like them?"
"Well, we usually say so or we hold hands," Elrohir said. "Sometimes we do this." He kissed her. She rested her hands on his chest for a moment then gently pushed him away.
"I was wondering when you'd get up the courage to do that." She said with a smile. A year later the two were wed. She smiled at Elrohir and nine months later birthed a son and daughter.
