Turtle Chocolate
April cringed as the sound of retching once again assailed her ears. However, despite her boyfriend's apparent discomfort, she could not help but question the situation, "So let me get this straight: you and you brothers can practically live off pizza, but one little piece of chocolate brings you to your knees?"
The massive turtle before her dragged his head away from his porcelain view to shoot her a withering stare, "I didn't make the rules April."
He promptly returned to his white asylum for another wave of purging. April rubbed his carapace, "It's just weird. You guys are so different from normal turtles and yet…"
Raphael groaned not bothering to move. Another bout would be on its way soon enough, "Fascinating how I'm dying here and this is what you're thinking about?"
"You're not dying Raph. Once you get it out you'll be fine!"
He grumbled, "And they say I'm the insensitive one."
April rolled her eyes, "Well I'm not about to kiss it better."
Another heave was his answer. The shell under her stroking hand shuddered prompting her to readjust. She hugged him from behind, "I'm sorry."
Raphael exhaled slowly, "Well you did say it'd be life changing."
A smile brushed her lips, "That I did."
The turtle in her grasp shifted so he could see her, "I'll let you off the hook, but next time something's "life changing" you're kissing it better."
A/N Seriously though the theobromine in chocolate = poison to most animals. I know they're mutated, but I just figured maybe they can't eat everything that we think they can. Thus this tidbit was born!
