If the world exploded at that exact moment Kurt wouldn't care. He was already in heaven. Cheesy. Right? Did it matter? It didn't to them. Not then.
Were the rest of the warblers still there when Blaine was singing? Of course Kurt could hear them humming in the background, but if he dared to turn around, would they still be there?
Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and played the last few notes of his song.
"I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind, that I put down in words, how wonderful life is now that you're in the world." He sang.
The last note slowly drifted into silence. Kurt did not know what to do, or say.
The rest of the people in the room stood up, trying to get to the door at the same time. Kurt sat next to Blaine, simply staring in his eyes.
Would they finally kiss? Hug? Pull a Rachel, and just, leave? Were the Warblers gone yet?
"Kurt?" Blaine started. "Are you okay?"
All he did was stare like a complete idiot.
"Oh no, I'm sorry. I made things awkward, didn't I? I am so stupid…"
Kurt interrupted "No, Blaine, your perfect. I wouldn't ask for a better boyfriend. Not in a million years."
He smiled "boyfriend?"
Kurt nodded.
"You're blushing." Blaine explained.
"Oh my god." Kurt said, turning his face away from Blaine's
"No, I think it's cute." He said, pulling Kurt's face back towards his. "Do you want to go get coffee or something?"
"Or something."
Kurt didn't think about it. He leaned in; as did Blaine, just close enough. Slowly. And their lips touched, for the first time. Soon, though interrupted by David and Wes.
"Ha-ha! Wes, you owe me twenty bucks!"
"Not fair!" Wes responded
Kurt was startled. "What are you doing you Neanderthals?"
Blaine answered. "They're clearly spying on us for some sort of bet."
He was always so calm about things. So forgiving. He was really oblivious. He was A tiny bit stupid, and sort of insane, but perfect to Kurt.
"I bet Wes twenty dollars that you two would kiss by the end of the semester, and he just lost. In your face." David exclaimed.
"It's still not fair…"
"And why not?" Blaine laughed.
They started to yell and push each other around. Blaine turned to Kurt. "Coffee?"
Kurt nodded "Coffee."
